Lighthouse Technologies, Inc. Opens Testing Lab in Dayton

Lighthouse’s New Software Testing Lab Allows Testers to Collaborate More Effectively

DAYTON, OH June 25, 2010– Lighthouse Technologies, Inc. (Lighthouse) opens a new software testing lab at their Dayton, OH headquarter office.  With the new software quality testing lab, Lighthouse continues to support their clients with software testing needs, including Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and their new contract with Waitrose, a UK based food retailer.

In an effort to support the growth of the company, Lighthouse invested in an integrated software testing lab.  The lab provides the ability to test applications on different platforms, such as PCs and Macs, and a variety of commonly used web browsers.

“With the capability of having all softwares testers and hardware in one place, it allows the software testers to collaborate more effectively and we are seeing this lower our cost per discovered defect,” says Jeff Van Fleet, President and CEO of Lighthouse.  “Before, we had our software testers in various cubes around the office.  By having them in one facility, there is a higher level of collaboration, where we get better test results and find defects faster.”

The open software testing lab creates a unique synergy by allowing software testers to openly communicate their findings, record defects, and generate and publish test reports.  By having software testers in one room, they can collectively discuss obstacles and provide recommendations to overcome software testing complications.
