CPI and SPI, in isolation, can be ambiguous or misleading. The Quality Performance Index™ (QPI™) helps to address this situation so you can have a much clearer view of how the project is performing. If your CPI and SPI are both reporting that you are on track, but QPI™ is indicating your quality is insufficient, it becomes obvious that the project isn't really on track.
